Well if there are three Vasto's in the Espada and each one is above a Captain and Aizen is 2X as atrong as a Captain than they could defeat him easily it would just take the top three and there were 10+ the other hollows soo I think that they are released from pain or something of that nature

A) we dont know how many vasto's are in the espada, they havent told us yet
B) it said a Vasto is "on par" with a captain, not stronger
C) it takes 2x the reiatsu of a normal captain to activate the hogekyou, that means Aizen has at LEAST that, he very likely could have more. he's also completely mastered all forms of combat, that means he's as good or better at kidou than the kidou corps captain, as fast or faster than yorouichi, as strong or stronger than kenpachi, etc. and all of this is not including the fact that his shikai alone dominates everyone. aizen isnt as strong as 2 captains, aizen is like 5 captains, at the very least. and thats assuming he HASNT used the hogekyou on himself.
D) any non-vasto espada couldnt even handle Aizen's reiatsu (ie grimjoww), so their numbers dont mean anything.
E) Gin and Tousen have Aizens back


the espada dont **** with aizen for 1 simple reason, they would get owned.
i think the thing about relieving pain was specific to aeroniero, notice he was a couple heads floating in a tank? and that the sunlight hurt him? he was just one messed up dude.

Blah blah, Vasto are above, not on par with an average captain. Saying that, obviously from grimmjows group, they differ in power in the class as well, just like the adjuchas. One of them could easily be just as powerful as Aizen, its not unreasonable considering the other side of the table is able to reach those heights.

There are Vastos out there that could easily take out Aizen in my opinion. The difference between Grimmjow who was an adjuchas, and D'roy who was also and adjuchas, was extremely large. But as pointed out, and is fact, he persuades them into following him, by promising to release from their pain.

my mistake then, it does say they are stronger. but, of the vasto's aizen may or may not control, i dont believe any of them is stronger than Aizen. there are maybe some out there that are as strong as Aizen, but i dont believe they are under aizens control.

i still believe the pain thing is unique to aeroniero's case. we have no reason to believe that any of the other espada are, or were in pain, and the tragic demise of the others.

yes, weve seen that the initial hollow transformation is painful, and yes aeroniero was in pain, but thats not enough info for me to say that "hollows are in a constant state of pain." thats just too big of a jump for me.



remember that page? maybe there was something wrong with the original espada, maybe Aizen didnt know how to use the hogekyou right, and there were side effects? or something to that effect, that would explain aeroniero's pain.

also, weve been assuming that a vasto lorde is more intelligent than an adjuchas, which i dont believe is true. i believe that this is the only page that talks about the intelligence of the 3 classes of menos, correct? this page says that an adjuchas is smarter than a gillian, but makes no mention of a vasto being smarter than an adjuchas.

i think that the intelligence difference between adjuchas and gillian, is due to the lack of an individual dominant mind on the part of the gillian, but as far as differenciating between a vasto and an adjuchas, i dont think intelligence is a factor.

i think that this argument is backed up by aeroniero, who had not yet evolved into an adjuchas at the time of his arrancar transformation, but had still retained a dominant personality. Aeroniero was just as intelligent as some of the other adjuchas class espada.

This is seriously getting old, I can't log on.

Anyways while we're on the intelligence note, someone needs to find out where wiki got this.

i believe the way hitsugaya's discussion with ichigo was worded, was different in the anime, and thats what wiki pulled from. maybe?

also, if wiki missenterpreted that, then its ever more likely that wonderweiss is a vasto lorde, which i believe whole heartedly.

Yea, I don't see any hints on that page leading me to believe he was the only one in pain previous to becoming an arrancar.

The reason they start consuming other hollows in the first place is due to emotional pain, which every hollow has. I believe becoming an arrancar removes that pain.

But on that page I see evidence of a previous espada, homemade arrancar, not made by Aizen. I believe they existed previous to him coming, and Aizen finished their arrancarization with the hogyoku, as well as guaranteed some other things.

there is no evidence of him being the only one in pain on that page, theres just no evidence of any of the other espada being in pain... on any page...

that page was to suggest an alternate theory, that the first batch of espada were flawed, and that was the cause of the pain, and the untimely demise's of the other 9.

and i dont believe that emotional pain was what aeroniero was screaming about. he starting crying over tha pain when his jar cracked open.

unless you suppose the liquid in his tank-head was an anti-depressant? scotch maybe? lol

Rukia just sliced him to hell of course he was in pain there. He was pain free before then, re-read it. It also does imply that he was in pain previous to becoming an arrancar.

Look at it this way.
Aizen promises him he'll be pain free if he follows him, and turns him into an arrancar, and he follows him, pain free.

sure, but i still think that this is a specific case, for aeroniero, not a general reason why the espada follow him. ive seen no indication that any of the other espada are or were in pain.
