I never bothered cause HM everyone understands. I think Espada have only been since Aizen though. They just get replaced as he creates more powerful arrancar.

Well there was something you can't deny that. A group of arrancar existed previous to Aizen making the espada, is fact. I forgot whos statement it was, or what I was disputing about, but there was something haha. Obviously not that important.

Arrancar existed without a doubt. You just reposted some stuff about when Grand Fisher had his mask taken off without the hoykogen (no clue on sp) and nel's fraccion had their maskes removed "the painful way" by sayzell or nnoitra.

Yea, but the point I was trying to make is the fact there was a group of them. Anyways, looks like Grand fisher was finished off by Aizen, what do you think, judging from those pages, he looks nothing like he did in Karakura town.

the fur is explainable, grand fisher had fur pre-arrancar. in the manga page, you see that his torso is being slashed it in one of the panels. the fur grew back.

we also dont know how it works when a hollow removes his own mask. in the manga page, he only had the lower half of his mask, fighting isshin, he had the same lower half, as well as a matching upper half, above his face.
if a hollow ripped off his mask entirely, would that not make him a complete arrancar? which just doesnt sit right. its possible that part of the mask grows back after being ripped off, depending on the hollows strength.

Probably, who knows. The only thing contradicting that is in the anime, hes wrapped up in a cube like wonderwyce. Anyways it sounded good.
