Zaraki Kenpachi vs. Kuchiki Byakuya

That's a very good point..... we need to remember also that Byakuya's banka acts like the sand of gaara...so if kenpachi is able to use high speed in shikai and even greater in bankai......byakuya gets PWND..... but if kenpachi's sword is a monster like Ikkakus or Renji's.....and that's the most possibility.......Byakuya would win..... remember Ichigo vs Byakuya........ until he used his small bankai he was able to clearly attack Byakuya....but it tired him' very easily..... but also it was ichigo's first time fighting in bankai.......and Hichigo PWND Byakuya in the few seconds he was.....

he wasnt clearly himself!! ichigo was abused by his dark side IF you remember.... thats why he pwned byakuya...

zaraki already has his shikai. when he says "this is my zanpakutous true form" or something to that effect, he means that it is already released. its just like ichigo's, its always in shikai form. i think yorouichi says something about it at one point, i think its while ichigo is training for bankai. thats why his zanpakutou is so jagged and beat up looking, if it was in its unreleased form, it would heal up those chips and stuff, but it is released, and those chips and serated edges are its natural form.

i think its highly unlikely that zaraki will ever get bankai, he tried to talk to his zanpakutou after he faught ichigo, and and he couldnt

to those of you who said "zaraki took on two captains at once" thats not true, komamura and tousen faught seperately, and komamura left mid fight, so zaraki only beat tousen. i think tousen was probably just as strong as zaraki, he MUST be strong, hes working for aizen, and he owns grimmjou's arm. i rly think the only reason that zaraki won was that his fighting style was well suited to go against tousen. also, most people dont rly think about it, but tousen has a disadvantage, hes blind. and even tho hes overcome that, its still an extra obstacle he has to overcome every time he fights, theres more he has to pay attention to and whatnot.

i think that byakuya is more powerful than zaraki, but i think zaraki would still have a good chance at winning in a fight, for the same reason he won against tousen, the difference in fighting styles.

i think zaraki's reflexes and willingness to grab a sword would cancel out byakuya's speed advantage, we all saw how good hes reflexes were in his fight against tousen while he couldnt see/hear/etc.

as far as the Senbonzakura issue, i think zaraki's extreme reiatsu aura, combined with his sword, would stand up to the lotus blossoms long enough for him to do some serious damage to kuchiki, even Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, but thats assuming he could get close to byakuya, who uses alot of ranged combat.

zaraki loves the fight, and i think he would try to enjoy the fight as long as he can, and thats why i think he COULD lose, after fighting for a while, his reiatsu would die down a little, deffinately enough so that he couldnt block all of the petals. but he also has some pretty crazy willpower, so who knows.

i think zaraki has a great defense suited to byakuyas offense, but i think zaraki's will to fight would allow him to easily be wore out by a bombardment by Senbonzakura, and assuming byakuya keeps a safe distance, i think he would win, but, it would be close, could go either way, win or lose, i think zaraki decides the fight
