So, I was thinking about Ichigo's bankai. Am I the only one that thinks it is like it doesn't work anymore? It was supposed to give him speed etc. He was faster than Byakuya's shunpo when we first saw it, and he should be faster than all captains since this is the specialty of it. But now it looks like it doesn't matter anymore.

Captains are gonna fight the top3. And probably at least one of them or even all 3 of them are faster than Ulquiorra.
So if Ulquiorra, who is no4 is outspeeding Ichigo in his bankai, then how are the captains gonna keep it up on their fights with the top3?

Early in the show it seemed that speed was essential and it was overpowered enough for a mere human kid to be able to keep up with shinigamis who were captains for hundreds of years, and now it is like isn't a factor anymore at all.

well I certainly agree with you eraze, but thats because in many cases the first time a technique is shown it's over powered

for exsample...
when Naruto first used rasengan it turned in to a large ball of chakra way bigger then kabuto, never did it since...

also espada are ranked on there over all ability..only one I'd automatically assume is faster then Ulq. is stark
and thats because his sonido speed and distance was nutz and he was even carrying someone else
on top of which starks Opponent shunsui also showed great speed and distance while carying Lt away from yama jii

This kind of leads back to the retardedness of Zommari's statement that he had the fastest sonido among the espada. If Byakuya was faster than Zommari, and Zommari is faster than Ulquiorra, then how is Ulquiorra faster than Ichigo?

Zommari prolly just has never seen the top 4's speed. Grimmjow said the King's Cero was the strongest cero that only espada were permitted to use, but then we see

Why is it in the manga and anime? I mean Sorrow-filled Sword's hollow hole. It moves in both the anime and the manga.. wouldn't they have told them how to correct it?
