yeah, you got the name.. I can't spell it so I picked my nickname for him, cuz he looks like he ish sad. But wouldn't they have made a mention to the anime makers in advance? And at the Zommari's speed thing, its likely that Byakuya's speed increased a lot since ichigo and byakuya fought and that Ichigo's speed was over-exagerated.. Plus I think the only reason people even think of his sonido as being fastest is because he tricks them by making clones that vanish, making it look like he is using sonido everywhere very quickly from one spot to another, when infact he may have been sonido'ing (correct usage?) while the clones fought to make himself look faster. And thats my input.

but i think in theory the hole never moves (i think it was grimmjow who said that ulqi likes to put a whole in his enemies right where his is-- after ulqi punches a hole into... well im sure you all remember it)
but while drawing it may have been lowered a bit as proven on here
or maybe they threw it in just to give nerds like us something to talk about

What I was saying is that if so many shinigami/arrancar can outspeed Ichigo's bankai with their shunpo/sonido, then it is pretty much - completely useless.
It would be better to just train his shunpo to get faster, than get a bankai that is inferior to shunpo. And If he actually can't gain anything else than getsuga tenshou from it, then it is the most useless bankai that we have seen in Bleach imo...

Maybe it can go faster than any shunpo and sonido, but he doesn't use it to the fullest powers it has because it causes too much strain on him. It was stated that his bones were "creakin' " by H.I. and it never came out and said that he overcame that.
