Top ten Strongest Characters in Bleach - Discussion (Spoilers)

List your top ten, with rational evidence and explanations. We'll keep this updated when warrented, i'll start! Please refrain from posting comments what are obviously not valid. Lets try and keep them alive and kicking, and will be replaced when deceased.


Obviously Aizen would be first, do I really need to explain?

Next would be Yamamoto for me, thousand of years experience, and founded the facility that creates Shinigamis.

Third would be Ishidas father and Isshin. Mayuri states he's studied Quinceys and considered Ishida one of the best due to the knowledge of his abilities. He's clearly more powerful than Ishida without effort, and has experience and the battle smarts to match. Like Isshin, killed an "incomplete" arrancar with one attack. And Isshin -which is just a theory- wears a royal guard cloak when in shinigami form. Who are said to be well above captain class level.

Fourth would be a bundle of the top three espada due to obvious reasons.

Fifth would be Shinji, Love, Rose, and Kensei as the vizard. Captains with knowledge of both shikai and bankai and are well trained in using their hollows powers correctly. Using moves such as cero.

Shunsui, Unohana and Ukitake would be my sixth bundle, for obvious reasons. Experience, battle smarts, and abilities.

Seventh would be Ichigo, clearly one of the strongest in the series. Still new to all of powers and unaware to their full potential, hes killing the strongest of the opponents. Like Inoue his power seems to be directly effects by emotion too, which seems to be labeled "resolve." With resolve Ichigos power doubles for a few seconds, and if he learned to harness this emotion he would without a doubt be the strongest around.

Eighth would be Ulquiorra for being ranked fourth without warrant, and could very well be stronger we don't know as of yet.

Nineth would be Kisuke and Tessai.

Tenth would be Inoue for her ability to reject anything back to a previous state.

Any opinions on changes, or suggestions?

1st - Aizen souske - baddass shikai / implied mastery of 4 arts / ability to use 90+ kidou spells with out chant / great Rieatsu

2nd - Stark - mainly because of power implied, being the primera when Ulquiorra strength is so great and ranked cuatro

3rd - Yama - jii - Stongest offensive zampaktou / loads of experience and Rieatsu

4th - Isshin / Hikifune - Being promoted above that of Captain rank is surely not an easy task

5th - Espada 2-4 - Vastolorde class are already said to be above captains, when adding strength by becoming an arrancar, you get beasts

6th - Captain class Vizards - they already achieved captain rank, gained hollow powers and have 100 yrs to master hollow + perfect bankai and what not

7th - Urahara / shunsui / Tessai - implied mastery 4 arts. lots of knowledge and experience

8th - Unohana / Ukitake / Yorouichi - they have been of captain rank for as long or longer then 3 above, but I don't think they are quite on the same level.

9th - Ichigo / Gin - quick learners / fast paced / great rieatsu / ichigo has sudden strength from resolve to make up for lack of experience and training

10th - Ryuken / Mayuri / Soi fon - calm but deadly warriors, very smart and have good mastery of combat abilities

Making this and choosing were people would go was harder then I thought it would be

I know wasn't it, it turned out to be pretty fun though.
Although I would disagree with your placement of Kisuke. You have plenty below him that we know are stronger from what we know. I tried not to so much base mine on implied knowledge, but evidence until proven otherwise.

1st- Ulquiorra. Just read the last few chapters, only espada to achieve second stage release. Simply MORE POWERFUL THEN ICHIGO, AND KILLED HIM!!!!

2nd- Ichigo. Dude is the only guy who got Ulquiorra, the most powerful of the damn espada to take him seriously. You know he is good.

Urahara mastered bankai, like ichigo in just 3 days, who knows how long ago that was.
he easily cut through Iron skin of an espada class arrancar in shikai.
we know he already mastered martial arts over 100 years ago, and he's very smart, and prepared like Mayuri

I'm not sure who you were reffering to, but I don't think anyone underneath is stonger
unless theory about Yorouichi not using Zampaktou because it's too powerful and hard to control was correct

He underestimates his opponents, he's sloppy. He didn't easily cut through anything, his shikai was required to cut Luppis arm, in which most likely had little if any heirro when aquated to Yammy or Nnoitra. Ryuken, Mayuri, and Soifon are all stronger than Kisuke as far as we know.

Ryuken is clearly on Isshins level in which I explained in my post. You also ranked Isshin as fourth, on pure specualation. All we know as of now, is they can both kill arrancars in one attack. Mayuri is clearly more prepared for his fights, and his shikai and bankai releases are superior to his skills as of now. Soifon has mastered hand to hand combat, shunpo, as well as flashcry, with a shikai that kills her opponent in two hits.

As I said lets try not to base our choices on speculation but facts until proven otherwise.

whewt did you just imply I shouldn't have Isshin on my list ? Because he's on yours as well
and no I do not think that is the case, Isshin is suposedly a member of the royal guard. If he isn't, I'd take him off my list
Ryuken on the other hand is a master of Quincy combat, I don't think the levels between Shinigami ability and Quincy are comparable
even if you mastered a form of combat, if someone else mastered a stonger one they are likely to be stronger

I guess if i'm gonna put Isshin on my list though I should also include WW as well since all evidence leads to him being a vasto

edit: oh and whewt your arguying Mayuri and Soi fon to be above Urahara, But I don't even see them on your list...why ?

No we both ranked him on pure speculation, when Ryuken showed us basically the samething and has more background evidence supporting his power.

No idea what your reffering too, with your second statement, the quincys final form can kill a capatin in one attack, and without effort. Not comparable? Your kidding right? We have nothing to support this claim. We've seen Ishida and Ishida only, whos clearly still growing, wait until we see his dad before jumping to conclusions imo.

And I asked for updates and changes, you posted yours, and I commented. Thus an update may be in order unless you can prove Kisuke is stronger than them.
