In the final episodes of the 'New Captain Amagai Arc',Syūsuke during his fight with Captain-Commander used his Bakkoto in order to stop him from using any shinigami powers.I think that if there wasn't Ichigo and his hollow/vizard power,Yamamoto would have been killed.I know this happened during an arc but still...

But yeah, filler arc. I agree that Ichigo is kinda overused. I mean couldn't someone have kidou'd Amagai? That's what happens with anime studios making their own storylines, though grantedly it had its good points too.

The fact that Kusajishi Yachiru never fights and she's a vice captain. Like come she in the 11th squad but does fight
