My theory about his shikai is around here somewhere, but I think he has the ability to prevent reiatsu based attacks. It's not really an effect as so much a burst he has to fire to accomplish this. He does it against Grimmjows cero, he also notices Ichigo about to perform a GT against him and he shoots one there as well.

Well in that manga page he didn't say he went to his inner world he just blacked out . ichigo went straight to his inner world though. that can't be a coincidence , alot of people black out on bleach they don't automatically go to their inner world.

Well by blacking out in his shinigami form, he lost the ability to retain that control that was fending his hollow off imo. I doubt that would be someones ability, everyone already has the ability to do it to themselves. I think its just the sleeping kidou without an incantation, but I could be wrong.

I can't wait until the dudes show up. Although these espada would be no match from what I have seen, unless their still holding back.

well imo if it was sleeping kidou he would of went to his inner world along time ago.

well anyways i think the espada where just hype i think that the vasto's that aizen is hiding, are the real badd-asses

That's why I specified his shinigami body, he doesn't seem to struggle while in his body.
And yeh, they should be coming sometime soon. Although I would say 3 tops, maybe two.
