Do you really think he is a traitor to Soul Society? I think he has some plan to destroy Muramasa, he just has to get close to him first....He must be trying to figure out how to fix the zanpaktos that have been killed by someone other than its master because didn't he only show up after they killed the one in the laboratory? (Even though he was "missing" at that time.?)

Nor will those that I know have bankai but haven't shown them yet in the anime.
