What the heck is the situation with that pink haired girl that's always riding around on Kenpachi's shoulder? I mean she's vice captain of the most vicious squad (even the 3rd seat has bankai) and she's just a retarded kid. She never even fights.

It'd be hilarious if the series ended with her showing up and killing Aizen in one strike.

She has stomache cancer so doesn't like to fight much.

It's a side effect of her medicine, all the time she's off screen she's in the hospital, check chapter 101 for when they talk about it :O

she just likes watching kenpachi fight, but she has been shown too have a strong raitsu, and in the SS arc when she was running with orihime and the others after they got up the stairs, she was saying she'll "go ahead and clean the strong guys up" although she wouldn't have been able take on anyone else but the other VC's and maybe soifon. but still i don't think it was completely empty. i think she's maybe as stong as some of the captains and has a bankai.
