It still hasn't mentioned this in the manga as far as I know, but it seems curious to me that Aizen would let Orihime know about the Hogyoku and its weakness. He must suspect what she'll try to do. Is there something about what went into making it that he really wants, I wonder. Recall that even Urahara, who made it, couldn't destroy it. So whatever went into its creation must have been very strange and/or powerful. I think that's what Aizen is really after. But that's just my opinion.
