Light is on the outside, and the dome blocks out that light, hence everything inside is cast in shadow, makes sense to me.

The point I was trying to make is this:

"Black can be defined as the visual impression experienced when no visible light reaches the eye."

That means that everything within Tousen's bankai is technically black. That means Shunsui could call out "black" as his color and strike anywhere on Tousen's body (not to mention Tousen IS black lol). Since Shunsui would also be considered all black his attack would inflict the highest amount of damage possible because:

"The higher the risk to yourself the more damage it inflicts" - Shunsui Kyōraku

In the absence of light, a color doesn't turn black. Color is dervied from the spectrum of light. Nothing inside of Tousen bankai is technically black. Everything has it's respective color, but just isn't visible. If walk into a room with a friend with a red shirt on and turned the lights off so no light is visible. Would it be logical for me to turn to then my friend, and proclaim I now have a black shirt on?

I understood your point, I was just pointing out that darkness isn't the samething as black. If that were the case our arguements wouldn't be valid, as they would just be swinging wildly at the darkness, under the pretense that darkness is black. If that were the case Tousen would be the clear victor.

I don't want to get into some seemingly drug induced, philosophical argument (which is what my argument sounds like

), but what is color really?

Color doesn't exist without light and when something is devoid of color it is black.

You know what...I'm just gonna stop. I'm beginning to confuse myself.

Shunsui wins. Are we just doing one match?

OR, it's the molecular composition of the dyed clothing that results in the attack's gain or decrease in power, because, as we all know, it's the reflection of light that determines the percieved colour.

Rofl. I think it's time to move on as well. Were argueing over the semantics of the same opinion. I think everyone would agree Shunsui is the victor lol. Let's get something a little more entertaining!

Can we really speculate on a winner? I mean we don't know Love's Bankai so it makes it a little unfair.

Even though I still think Komamura would win.

That a little bias, as you were willing to debate Shunsui versus Tousen and we know Tousens bankai and not Shunsui's! Hah im kidding. Thinking about it though, it's not really a fair match, as Love can rip menos in half barehanded. Thats pure win.

On a serious note though, Love is hollowfied, and Sajin is a bottom teir captain, who needs to release bankai to dispose of lowly fraccion. Not much of a match, I just can't think of any good match ups.
