Chad vs Ishida

Ishida is favored, but seriously, it's anyone's guess.
Chad has high defenses, potential for high-speed movement, and tons of destructive power, with one long-range attack.
Ishida has more techniques and finesse, but his attacks are generally weak.

I don't think he's been nerfed, he's just been up against opponents that are way above him or just plain inconvenient.
His and Chad's problem is the same: bad progression and development.

Based on what we know alone chad's defense would be demolished by ishida's onslaught of attacks. Not to mention a letz stil would easily pierce through any defense chad could ossibly throw up against it.

ishida is a long range fighter but chad is a short range fighter if they fought ishida would have the upper hand because he is faster so he can get away and he has his long range attacks while chad will have to catch up to him and get in a close proximity.

Not really, Chad's basic attack is ranged. Plus he demonstrated high-speed movement in HM, so we don't really know what their speed difference is.
