C'mon, the main protag always has an insane amount of flashbacks, and we probably wouldn't have the majority of the series left to spread it over.

if they wanted to "switch" main characters then urahara would be a much better choice imo. i still think urahara vs aizen should be the final fight. urahara and shinji both have a lot more history with aizen than anyone else.

Well from all your posts it seems like you're expecting him to either jump into the fray next chapter and if he doesn't he's dead.

He might just lie around severely injured for the rest of the fight like Hinamori and Rangiku.
