Yama's lieutenant is not strong at all, seriously. He's been owned alteast 3 times so far...

Actually that katana isn't ever seen inside the actual series that I know, it is only shown in a piece of artwork(cover or artbook or something), which the wiki then assumes means she has one.
Tite might have decided not to give her one after all.

i really don't see how they made proly the strongest shinigami have on of the weakest vice-captains. they should at least had him look as strong as Yumichika

To be fair we've never really seen much of what he's capable of. For all we know Ichigo's dramatic increase in strength and speed caught him off guard. Maybe he's actually Captain level with a bankai.

very true cause they made Omeada look a lil better, but still weak as hell. he couldn't have been that much off guard to watch Omeada get taken down, he had like a second or two to react. That's messed up, maybe Yama-jii knows he's weak as hell and that's why he stationed him to guard the barrier cause he wouldn't have killed anybody. lol but yea he may be alright, but i doubt they'll let him be as good as Ikkaku and Renji.

Honestly, I don't think we'll ever find out. I think he's only in the story because every captain has to have a vice captain and they didn't want to have to come up with another background and abilities for him.

He's like a placeholder

We've seen his zanpakuto using lightning attacks though... if the list was correct.

yea i aint see him attack nobody just release shikai. what did his swrod name mead, Solemn Spirit. i though from the name of Isane's Zan that she would use some lightning
