Maybe he knew in advance the Shinigami would launch some kind of offensive to kill his Espada and developed some kind of device to absorb their souls. I mean it might be possible even if it is farfetched, but it does sound kinda Aizen-ish to have a backup plan for things like that. Unless of course the espada get reborn back into the cycle of rebirth or w/e. (Don't quote me on that I forget the details with shinigami/hollow "deaths")

Well seeing as they're killed by shinigami, they should be purified and sent to SS(in parts, since they're all conglomerates), but the issue of them being part shinigami is kinda annoying. It throws an unknown varible into the equation. Either nothing happens, or they disintegrate, or something else freaky happens.

i think that the espada would just disappear into nothingness

But can you see what I'm getting at? Maybe Aizen had all of it planned out in advance. I mean he did say something to the effect of "they'll handle it for me" when he was first trapped by Yamamoto's attack. Could it have had a double meaning? And on an unrelated note what happens to a hollow that's "killed" (I use this term lightly because of the rebirth thingy) by another hollow, such as in the case of Yammy killing those Fraccion.

Probably the same as when a Quincy kills a hollow.
Though it's not certain, after all they were both Arrancar.

The Reiatsu lvl of the hollows and arrancar compared to the humans in K-town

I don't think you've understood the process properly.

The King's key needs exactly 100,000 souls(pluses) and a plot of spirit-enriched land with a radius of half a spirit-mile.
Spirit-enriched land is a specific spot on Earth that moves from time to time. Right now it is Karakura. No other place will do.

THAT is why they transferred the whole town to SS, to make sure that the conditions could not be met.
