Here is my view *looks around to see no one listening*....*puts up mirror and stares into it* tite wasn't wrong he was merely thouighful. He knew there was no way for yamamoto to know of ikkaku(even though that is no longer debated but...) and he probably had never seen hisagi's since he doesn't even like to use it.....so pretty much i agree with vezryl. What yamamoto said had nothing to do with what shape or type of zanpktou they were. he was merely talking about what he knew.

If Yamamoto didn't have a good idea of everyone's release, at least shikai, he wouldn't have made a statement like that.

You sure have a point, Balling, but he wasn't the one to examine the new shinigami's power... it was room46 work, so it could be that he missed something about hisaghi... but this statement match only if we WANT hisaghi shinkai to be a double blade...

I would like to think SS has enough knowledge of it's top Shinigami and know there release's as Mayuri knew Renji's was Zabimaru..

But Yama was Shunsui and Ukitake's teacher.......so he would obviously know more about there power then most ppl

Ok, so that page still makes no referance to shape, or brings anything new t o the table, what it says is that they're both dual zanpakutou, and that makes them the only two of their kind. Which as you've admitted recently isn't the case.

And it's odd that you now say that your argument was that Hisagi had a dual zanpakutou all along, because when I ended a post with the words "the only logical conclusion is that Hisagi has a dual zanpakutou" you broke out the ever so articulate and justified response of "no its not", and then proceeded to quote a few posts to try and show that it wasn't "the logical conclusion".

It occurs to me that saying that something isn't the logical conclusion and disagreeing with someone that says it was, then backtracking and taking the "its a dual zanpakutou" argument for yourself, suggests that perhaps you've gotten a bit lost here and should revise past posts you've made in the topic.

I'm seeing you contradict yourself here, and grasp onto a page from the manga that doesn't really say anything new. What's the point of that?

I mean obviously he was referring to the dual zanpakutou feature of them being unique and not the exact zanpakutous being unique, because it's well known that EVERY zanpakutou is different. The page is really just showing that somewhere down the line there's a due update to that little list of Yama's, or Tite made a mistake.

Vez, I dont think he even knows what his arguement is anymore. He never states anything, hes quotes old stuff, that doesnt make sense, or the page we've seen 100 times. Accompanied by six words of text, "if you dont understand, tell me". I think he means, "I dont understand, tell me."
