i really think byakoya`s zanpaktou is the best but i dont really think that zaraki can own byakoya

ok well, my favorite is zenbonsakura cuz byakuya is my favorite captain lol and his sword is awesome i mean it is one of the best cuz of it's bankai abilities, and then there is old man yama and his zanpaktou ryujin jakka is the oldest fire type and has the stringest attack power in all of soul society and we have aizen and his "flawless" illusions created by his shikai suigetsu something lol i 4got the full name and last but not least we have kiskue and benihime i mean he can create shields and release mad energy and plus he told renji that his "bankai is not for helping people" lol that only gives the hint that it's amd powerful, well let me not jump to conclusions but i wud say it wud be between those 4 for the best zanpaktou......... for now a at least :-D

Well, high levels of spiritual power, reiatsu as it is sometimes called, is supposed to be something that can be inherited, for instance in the anime episode when hitsugaya faces the hollow that can create miniature versions of itself using souls of those it has devoured, if you listen to the dialogue it is said that because the boy had a high amount of spiritual power then his sister was assumed to, because it is often inherited.

Now when we take into account that Ichigo's father is a shinigami capable of being a shinigami, the likelyhood of his children having enough spiritual power to at least sense spirits and hollow was always high.

So in a way one can think of it in the same way as a genetic trait.
