The sword's human form is kinda cool I guess. As a zan it's pretty lame.

Well Ichigo hasn't really honed his Zanpakuto's skill. He got Bankai in 3 days, something that a shinigami attains in 10 years. I'm not surprised he hasn't uncovered all of his Zanpakuto's secrets, so we haven't really seen its full potential.

The shinigami master their bankai enough to use in battle in at least 10 years(after learning it). Ichigo has a lame bankai by shinigami standards though. It has the form of a regular weapon and the power is condensed into that form. Since those are the main reasons why shinigami train with their bankai there's no reason his bankai would take 10 years to master. The only thing I can see Ichigo getting out of his sword is maybe a new attack.

that is what ichigo told byakuya right?... and byakuya later remarked that the 'condensing' gave ichigo a power-up?

i still dont get this; why is it a bankai??? he cant use the superspeed anymore cause its too stressful? so his hollow showed him kuro-getsuga to use instead, is that his true bankai??? it desnt make sense to me; i still think it seems flawed somehow. i just...*tired-head*.. ?

i agree, because if ichigo got the black getsuga from hichigo then that means that zangetsu had no moves at all but super speed.

Kuroi Getsuga isn't a new move, it's simply using Getsuga Tensho in Bankai. Just a power-up of the original.
Hichigo was merely the first to use it.

Super-speed is Zangetsu's primary bankai power, but since the force is too much for Ichigo to handle I suspect he either simply doesn't do it(since that'd mean letting Hichigo control him in order to win if his body got too torn up) or has set up unconscious barriers that prevent him from going that fast.
