Well from Pend arc to the first episode there's a 100 year gap. So it explains that, a purpose for Isshin, why he used Rukia, and the hogyoku. I have to complile it all again, which I don't really feel like doing..

So basically Isshins Gigai was Ruined when the hollow attacked in the first chapter.

While in the same fight, Rukis loses her powers, and is forced to recover in a gigai.

So using some critical thinking here, they both need new gigais.

The only thing that doesn't make sense is why he would stop using Isshin, and use Rukia. It wasn't completley unthinkable. Noone would of come for Rukia before she became untracable, but Aizen was informed that Hogyoku was now in Rukia.

Aizen killed the central 46 and ordered Byakuya Kuchiki and Renji to go retrive her.
Without this inside information Kisuke would of gotten away with it, to an extent. It must mean that more people are still looking for Isshin, than would of come for Rukia.

Isshin goes in for a new one, and Kisuke finds a new hiding spot, guess who, Rukia. But Aizen finds out, they take her back, and Aizen gets it...

You guys already know this but I don't get it so:
Question: Is Urahara in a gigai and if so can a gigai be converted into a soul by the reishihenkankon? Because when he sends Ichigo and the crew to save Rukia, he lets them use that soul converter over the senkaimon to turn them into souls.

So we know he can't physically go to soul society even if he wanted to; he isn't in a soul form and cannot convert himself into a soul. What I want to know is why is physically hindering him from changing into a soul? When you get banished from soul society does this always happen?
Explain, discuss...

Your making this way too complex for something so simple. Hes banished, you can't even enter the entrance to be converted in the first place. Its not that he can't become a soul, your assuming that, he just can't travel to soul society.

It wouldn't be logical for him to enter the gate to soul society. I don't understand how a device with the abilty to convert souls would suddenly allow him to enter soul society, not really much to discuss.

but how can they banish him... I mean, that0s just a gate, like you said, Whewt, so it can't recognise Kiske from another one... I thought being banished was something like: "you can come here, but if you come here I'll slash you"

He was banished from Soul society to earth by central. And the only way into soul society is through such manner. I guess we just have to accept it reconizes him, they didn't explain how.

That makes sense since both him and Tessai don't use the gate while Yoruichi can and she wasn't banished she just ran away
