I mean, I don't remember seeing them fight, and they are at least Fraccion level since they were in the room where Wonderweiss was made. Anyone else know know anything about them? I wonder if KT just forgot about them......

If KT involved every arrancar shown I think we would have way too many characters on our hands lol. I doubt they are going to have any part in the story later on though.

When he says that he is thinking of switching to Ichigo to their side and that is the reason he didn't kill him is quite interesting. Because Ulquiorra forced Ichigo to his breaking point, making Ichigo more hollow, thus probably making it easier for Ulquiorra to somehow convert Ichigo into a hollow. So I think the whole time Ulquiorra was trying to provoke Ichigo to use more powerful attacks or to try harder was to make him more vulnerable to his Hollow form, so it could take over. What do you guys think?

I guess, but the close up of the first one is just weird....

That sounds like it could be the case, but I don't think that Aizen or any of the Espada thought Ichgio would be this strong, his power right now is unreal. But on the other hand, the Aizen in Karakura town could be just an illusion and this Ulquiorra could be something of the sort and he really wants Ichigo's power. I thought he wanted an army of ten Vasto Lorde's anyway, and he goes invading Soul Society with maybe 3[if they even are Vasto's]? Aizen must know about the Royal Guard, I can't see him being foolish enough to go straight into a battle that he could lose.

Ulquiorra realized his immense potential before-hand though. Ichigo's current form obviously exceeds expectations, but Ulquiorra is a sly guy, and already prepared for the worst. Imagine Aizen having Ichigo on his side. Maybe that's also why Aizen left Ulquiorra behind in Las Noches, instead of any one of his other cronies. Something bigger is going on here than a brawl between Ichigo and Ulquiorra.

But the problem is, Ulquiorra can't control what happens between Ichigo and Shirosaki. So if he were to win his inner-battle, not only would he be able to control the Hollow, but he'd be even stronger than he is now. Wouldn't that just make everything pointless?

Another thing, Genrei Kuchiki was not included in Shunsui's list of people who had been Captain for over 100 years. Yet he looks as old or older than Yamamoto. I wonder if that will play into anything later on, like maybe he was with the Royal Guard then retired to the Gotei 13 due to old age. Either way it's just weird that he had not been Captain for 100 years.

If you have a case you're not sure about, you can try coming to the same conclusion in a different case that is very similar. But if the second case's conclusion is absurd, you must make the assumption that the first one is too.

Maybe he joined late, or his Captain took a hell of a long time retiring. He could still have been a captain for 99 years
