Here's one, although its a complete spitball...

if soul society is supposed to be heaven, then wouldn't the king, by that logic, be God himself, or the equivelent thereof?

this begs another question. If God is the king of soul society, then why the hell did he let things go so damn far? This is almost the equivelent of a D&D character almost winning against an overdeity at lv. 25 by only using some kinda superfeat.

so my guess is that something is going down over there as the winter war is happening. and that sounds like reason enough for a sequel to me, as if the money such a sequel would make wasn't enough of one.

Ummmm... Soul Society is supposed to be Soul Society and nothing else, I don't see why it should have anything to do with the christian idea of heaven, nor christian monotheism.

The king is the king and he probably doesn't even know what's going on outside his dimension, I mean no one in SS knows what's going on in HM all the time.

It doesn't necessarily have to be "heaven" as in christian metaphysics.

I think I lean more against the idea of the King being more like the Japanese emperor, a descendant of the gods and therefore a legit mandate to the throne. If we'd get a background check.

actually I was only thinking of how multiple religions of absolutely no connection seem to have some kind of deity as the ruler of their version of the afterlife. I kinda thought that it would be a similar concept. plus the Christian god (and I am a firm Catholic by the way, heck my dad's even a Deacon) is all powerful and all knowing. It would seem that if the "Deity" of soul society has similar abilities, he would have forseen Aizen's motives and made arrangements to bring him down. since he has not, or if he has we haven't seen it yet, I would conclude that said "deity" does not have such powers.

however, this doesn't have to be the case. he doesn't have to even be infallible. I will now bring up the fact that the greek gods were not infallible. heck Zeus and Hera remind me alot of what I picture a married Jiraya and Tsunade (from Naruto) would be like.

Zeus Cheated on Hera countless times and both him and his kids born out of wedlock constantly suffered for it.

oh and amaterasu, I intend no offence but in the interest of helping you kep from looking like an idiot at a later date I feel compelled to point this out.

If the name has four digits of a phone number and we are to guess the "two before and after," wouldn't the math be 2+4+2=8 digits? Last I heard a phone number only has 7 digits, unless if it's long distance and therefore 10 to include the area code.

high-speed regeneration is just an ability that a hollow can get when turned into an arrancar.
