Bottom line is that an opinion is only worth it's effect, and the effect is based on context, if people are actually listening, if the person having it thinks it's worth acting on etc etc.

I mean, your opinion on your middle toenail will most likely not be worth a lot to most people, nor mine on my leftmost strand of hair.

So an opinion in general is quite worthless, it is only when you put it to effect that it has any kind of worth. On that note however, I agree, not all opinions are of equal worth once put into context/use.

What will gain the organism the most is untainted information, because it will rationally guide it to further survival, which ultimately is the only purpose of this self-assembling universe.
