Hmm... both concoct unnecessarily complex plans for simple tasks.
Both sit around leaning on one hand with a slight smirk waiting for something to happen.
Both had no chance of losing due to massively overpowered powers.
Most likely Aizen, too will lose due to something incredibly silly and improbable.
Both are trying to become God.

I think this might be going somewhere

Both have legions of followers, as well as girls who think they're somehow special to them even though they're really just annoying.

I was actually talking about Melony and that other girl whose name I can't remember(they were somehow under the impression that Aizen gives a sh*t about them), but I guess Tousen kinda fits the criteria.

Well, Light has the power to directly control people, but only if he's killing them via DN, while Aizen has the power to manipulate what people percieve, indirectly controlling people.

So yeah, they do, but different aspects of it.

Wow... this is pretty amazing... good comparisons guys! I would help but sadly DN was a bore to me. So I'm gonna sit over here in the sidelines and be a little observing cheerleader! Yay!

Mreaper is right, there are different aspects

aizen tries to get to the top and is a bit careless
but light wants to get to the top and isn't careless he watches out for anyone 2 see him.
