OMG I SPENT LIKE 192836791832 DAYS THINKING ABOUT THIS. Because Ulquiorra is crazy smart, and he might overthrow Aizen so he put him as 4 to keep him in line. I came up with the idea ever since I became a gigantic Ulquiorra fan-boy.

what i meant was when he fought ulqiorra in hollow form he had the advantage until his mask broke, i think if he could have kept his mask on as long as the ichi grimm fight ulqiorra would have been forced to release
