shinji was of captain level though, also i dont think any of them is really leader i just think they all want revenge against aizen

nah hyori has always been bossy didnt u see the flashback dude anyways she isnt the only VC either but still i guess we will go with "self-proclaimed" for now since it wasnt directly said

Its pretty much up for grabs either way. There maybe only be a limited number of Royal guard. To send them off, would be reckless on his part, leaving him undefened. Which would never happen.

Bossy has nothing to do with it. When he failed to intise Ichigo, he called Hiyori, and reported into her. If he was the leader, that wouldn't of been neccisary.

i dont think there is a "leader" of the vizard. but im curious how it was shinji's fault they became vizard? thats possibly true with hiyori, but not the others.

i think everyone assumed that this was the gigai that urahara used on rukia, but i think its just as likely that this new gigai could be the reason why urahara uses his shinigami powers without leaving a gigai.

which would be more benificial to take to earth, a gigai to that drains your powers, or a gigai that allows you to use them?

also, it was another 100 years before urahara used rukias gigai, where would it have been all that time? a closet somewhere? what made him suddenly decide to hide the hogekyou in it?

i think its more likely that the gigai yorouichi is talking about is urahara's gigai, and the gigai that drains rukia's powers was developed on earth.
