I think the entire left side of the mask he had on at the end of the chapter is his mask, and the part he was able to cut off he has an an inhibiter just like Zaraki uses the eye patch. He is obviously not as strong as Zaraki though.

Yea that makes sense, I think it was Balling that said this before.
But it seems that they can grow some of their mask back at will, kind of like how the Gran Fisher ripped his mask off for "his true power".

Yea but when he did it he was like crying lol and this guy can do it easliy but of course there power is not to be compared as we know findor is at least VC level so I guess it could make sense

I guess we can say that it limits them, it doesn't really give them any more power than they had previously.

I think someone said kinda like Zarakis eye patch. They grow it back to limit themselves, but they already had that power, it doesn't make them any stronger, thats just their max power.


So the espada and established arrancar, don't do it because its pointless?

I kind of think that this guys power is unique to him, and the grand fisher was simply wearing his mask, it wasn't attached.
