I think aizen brought orihime to hc mundo so he can weaken the 13 protection squad. I think he knew they were gonna send some of the strongest captains uncluding ichigo and his group. Since orihime powers were so speacial they consider it a threat to soul society if she stood there.

No, i think that it was to fully awaken the hogyoku , but in the end it e3nd up waking up it's self. :/

There was a theory that Aizen is lying. Meaning that it hasn't woken up yet and he still needs Orihime's power. But she isn't powerful enough yet to do so.
And thats why he left Ulquiorra to HC to fight/kill Ichigo in front of her, so her emotions will make her power to grow. And then she will awaken the hogyoku without him having to lift a finger.
