Top ten Strongest Characters in Bleach - Discussion (Spoilers)

I think what most people are failing to realize is the power of the past leader of the kidou corps, Tessai, as well as Kisuke. I think Whewt had it right when he put them in the top ten, but I think they should be farther down the list. Now, I haven't read the manga whatsoever, but I would assume that even without hollow powers Kisuke and Tessai could whoop any vizard's ass and most of the arrancar, sans Aizen and top crew.

I don't think so, it's not like they are really part shinigami, and it's never been shown they could
they rip off there masks and seal powers in a zampaktou, they don't gain shinigami abilities like Vizards

Oh well naw they can't learn kidou, although their releases/powers and all the cero variations are bascially comprised like kidou.
Hense why Kuchiki could stop Zommaris attacks with kidou defenses. I think Death said that earlier in the thread though.

1: Aizen - As much as I hate to admit it, this maniac has been shown time and time again to be about as strong as they get... Illusions and mastery of all the shinigami arts, as well as being able to manipulate the mindless beings known as Menos Grande with little effort.

2: Yamamato (sp?) - Seems to have been through hundreds of fights and has a very destructive sword, even just in its shikai. This shows how strong he is. As well as being Captain Commander and none taking his rank, no matter the ability. These all point towards his superiority to most other shinigami.

3: Uliquiria (sp?) well I wish I could say that.. But most likely, I would put Soifon in this spot, with her ability to pierce through a body twice in the same point from front and back show her accuracy and he shikai is presumably a two hit kill technique, Meaning her bankai could be anything. Also, a semi-mastery of the technique flashcry (shunko) which allows her abilities to be further enhanced.

4.Kenpachi Zaraki : A blood lusted soldier at heart, but has shown that he knows his limites and his abilities are not unmatched. He has also been training and has many variations of sword style, like Kendo, that allow him to further use his Reiatsu. He may be somewhat mental and blood lusting, but he shows he knows he can't always drag out battles for fun, portrayed by his use of Kendo even though he hated it, against Nnoitra because he had lost to much blood. This means he does not have a shikai or bankai revealed yet, but can boost his power in this manner to be extremely strong

5. Ulquiorra : Due to high amounts of screen time, I rank him here, since the rest of the top four espada are not given much in screen time. He has shown the ability to use a second Ressurecion and the ability to have, seemingly, his own unique cero, which might just be top 4 exclusive. Showing the ability to defeat ichigo, but this is a small claim due to Ichigo's long consecutive matches against muliple top class espada. He has been trusted by Aizen himself, to guard Las Noches from falling to 5 (Mayuri, Ichigo, Kenpachi, Healer Lady, and Byakuya) captain-class or close to captain class Shinigami. This takes a lot of trust and Aizen is not the kind to take risks, so this shows his faith in the Cuatro Espada.

6. Shinji : Due to his ability to easily dispatch Grimmjow and almost kill him with a cero, that didn't even charge for very long, show his ability as a hollow are quite strong. As an ex-captain he most likely has knowledge of his shinigami side as well, thus having a shikai and a bankai. He also seems to be exceptionally fast and strong without his shikai or bankai.

7.Ichigo/Hollow Ichigo (sorry I had 2) : Has shown the ability to come back from near fatal deaths and even fatal ones stronger. He has an inner hollow that made Love nearly put on his mask to defend its cero, even though Love seems an acceptable captain and vizard. He also seems to have various uses for his move Getsuga Tenshou and when determined, even while exhausted, blocked Grimmjows strike with one hand due to his will. His control over his inner hollow, as so far, has seemingly been exceptional.

8. Yumichika (bare with me): He has shown the ability to drain all of an enemies Reiatsu with his true shikai. This is a devastating ability in that it can easily heal him if he is low. If their are limits to how much it can drain, I will change his rank, however, an inexhaustable rejuvinating soul slayer that damages the enemy at the same time is a rare find and extremely powerful IMO. This is based on ability, not how he fights in the anime/manga.

9. Tessai : As previous captain of the Kido Corps, he could use Kido or Hadou or w/e it was that was deemed forbidden, to even captain class. He had the ability to warp space and time to his will. These point to a hidden ability we have not yet seen and as of yet it is unknown if he had a Zanpaktou or not, maybe concealed in his cane or maybe not. Also, it is possible he might have a high knowledge of high level Kido, maybe matching Aizen's as he was Captain of Kido Corps.

10. Ryuken : A quincy with seemingly extraordinary abilities, he has pinpoint accuracy and a seemingly vast knowledge of the Quincy arts. He may be higher in the list, however, with the small screen-time he has been given I must rank him here.

Yumichika imo would get killed by the top ten before he could think about using his sweet skikai sp

- Kiske with his knowledge and his whooping on yammy, and the little we know is bad ass so you know he has got more is his bag of tricks, but top 5 would be to high( to lazy to make a list )

Reiza, it's true Yumichika's ability is badass, didn't even think bout possibility of a lower seat being there.
however do you really think kenpachi is above Ulquiorra and shinji ?

I know based on your list, your not including implied strength, only abilities shown so far, which explains why alot aren't on there
but if it's just on what we've seen so far Mayuri should easily make that list

8. Zaraki-could be higher minus the patch, if wanted to kil fast he could( just to partial to kenpachi)
9. Orihime, so much is foreshdowed about her you know she balls out of control
10. Tessai, kido will help in the battle more than most think( imo)

Kenpachi wouldn't even be on my top fifteen. His lack of proficiency in any of the four combat skills, and total dependance on reiatsu hardly even makes him captain materail imo. His only battles have been with characters exactly like him, throw any kidou based zanpaktou at him, and hes done for. He's like a less flashy/ability ridden Ichigos hollow.
