I'm not sure about the 4th squad thiing because he went into battle without any hesitation whereas unohana, well i've never seen her fight at all i think O.o

it is once mentioned that Ichigo is a pure breed shinigami...thats the explaination for him having immense reiutsu...if both of his parents were Shinigami, have both of his parents died already and come back in gagais and had ichigo as a human or were they both Shinigami Representives? this has always made me wonder?

His Dad is still alive and a shinigami, he not a full time shinigami he just helps when in his town every thing gets really out of hand , but usually he know Ichigo can take care of it, though Ichigo doesn't know about his Dad, his mother died awhile back from a hollow attack i think, she was just a normal person

Well whether or not she was a shinigami she was at the very least not normal. I mean in the episode where she gets killed by Grand Fisher she obviously recognizes that it's not what it appears. What I want to know is if Ichigo's dad is also a Representative how did he get started? I thought he was like Urahara or something similar at least.
