the draining gigai wasn't that made specifically for rukia because urahara didn't want aizen to find her? that's how i remember it at least.

Nah, he'd made others before it seems. Though with all the conflicting info, we don't know.
Of course, the fact that he gave one to Rukia means he could make more.

He is a captain
his uniform say this but in which squad that is hard to know

since we did not see him fighting
saying he was in the 4 squad because he work in a hospital is not so good since he could be a former member in the 4th squad then changed to another squad

just like 3rd squad vice captain when he healed matsumoto with his former experiance in the 4th squad

so it is not abrove he was in the 4th squad

Too bad we have to wait to find out. I don't want to think of him as a Captain on account of his saying something to the tune of "...all captain level shinigami conceal their riatsu...."etc etc, to the grand mariner arrancar. If he is or not isn't up to me. I just want to know what his relationship with Uruhara Kiske is.(who is, btw, the MAN)

The fact that Unohana is the 2nd eldest captain makes it clear that Isshin was not the captain of the 4th squad

Very true, its seems he may have been captain after the TBP arc, ah hell everything to be said has been said on him, we only know so much

Even though he could make more doesn't mean he would make one for Isshin, and considering he was able get out of his gigai and kill an arrancar in 1 swing proves he wasn't in one.
