Probably because although Barragan's power is nigh unstoppable, Stark is capable of much more widespread destruction over less time.

In many disscusions I've seen many people say : "Relax. The vastos hasn't even introduced yet" assuming none of the espada is vasto

But that's all it is, assumptions. Whewt for one thought he might very well be one.
And to me his opinion weighs pretty heavily compared to the random stuff that goes around these forums.

Yes and i was thinking how easily stark overpowers barragan and the fact that stark can shoot ceros like crazy seems to be the reason. Plus he doesn't have to be close to his opponents.
