Then he's facing Yami, number 0, 5 ranks higher than Ulquiorra's first release and he is actually able to injure the guy.

If he couldn't touch Ulquiorra until he went super hollow, then he shouldn't be able to put up a fight against Yami. He may not have much going on upstairs, but Aizen does. He must have given Yami that rank for a reason.

welcome to bleach logic no matter how hard you think about it , it never makes any sense, but he did have his new hollow mask so im guessing it was to show how much stronger it made him idk its been awhile since i read these chapters

This is why I registered.

Everyone I know has given up on bleach already, as such I have no one to talk to about it, and of course I am far too invested at this point to simply stop watching.

I have to at least see Aizen fight.

Espada ranks seem to be based purely on power. So although Yammy is way too resilient to actually be defeated by Ichigo, he's slow enough that you can get a few shots in.

Nah not buying that.

Aizen is intelligent enough to know that unlimited power is useless if you can't hit anything with it.

If he's sensible then he will have ranked them based on their total fighting prowess, not just how hard they hit.

Though, all things considered, Stark was completely underwhelming considering his rank. Kept expecting magic from him and all I got was parlour tricks. :/

Well it's not like he ranked them out of necessity, he didn't really need any of them.

Plus, why bother with comparing every single special ability when you can just go by raw strength? Even if Barragan had been #7 in power terms he'd be godmodded with that ability of his.

i know it is after every 3 seasons of main arc they go to filler after. My guess will be they will go to a filler arc right before Deicide starts

yammy is the physically strongest & most 'spiritually' powerful arrancar ever in his '0' form.

Stark is still the 'primera' arrancar...

Baragan is still 'unbeatable' by the means of any other arrancar...
