Manga likes to lead us to wrong conclusions.. actualy we can't whose zan Muramasa is.
But i found thing that makes me think it's Joruichi's. In ep 41 (2,3.. not quite sure) Joruichi in cat form does something like forcing others to obey her will (when she asked/ordered Ichigo to give him hollow mask). probably I'm wrong, but...

Also Yoruichi isn't dead. You really need to re-watch the part where Muramasa explains that.

i know she's alive. but.. u know that it is often that someone who someone wants to be dead isn't dead.. maybe she's dead for him.. i know it sounds stupid, but also there's a fact that zanpaktou can't live if his owner is dead. at least i think so.. maybe they can now, but they couldn't before they had taken human forms. it's unlikely that Muramasa was the one who resides in human form. i just don't want this to be no one's story.

Well I kinda get what you're saying, but I've already made my statement as to why all theories on whose Muramasa is are futile, since this is filler.

Well you can keep thinking anyway, I'll be right in the end(already am, really) but it's fun to see what ppl come up with.

I don't think it's some kind of power... She just used her "charm"... The mask was already there (it saved Ichigo) and she just asked him to give it to her.
