Bleach Episode Discussion

I was really really following to see what happened with that guy who was messing with time and creating the evil doppelgangers of the captains and who stole away Ichigo's powers and the story progressed right up to where they were fighting him, and suddenly the story took a completely different turn and a whole new story line and I felt that that story had left a lot of unfinished business, namely all the action from the captains' battles I was waiting for and never got to see. It was building up and building up and then just disappeared along with the show itself. Really disappointed, but there were still some great times. Here's to many great episodes Bleach! thanks!

Well yeah, that whole reigai arc was filler, had nothing to do with the story.

Yeah total filler is why. Something you should take into account is that you enjoyed most of it.

First off filler is what animators do to fill time periods where they need to not use the actual story (so the story, usually a manga, can get further ahead again) so make shit up and stick it on television. Most filler is horrible. Comprete garbage. The fact that this filler and a few Bleach ones were even watchable was a pretty big deal. It shows that filler can be decent, and I hope somewhere down the road certain other anime teams take notice and stop making such bad filler.

Thank the gods that this is the last filler week for quite a while (On Toonami)! Can't wait to finally see Ichigo vs Ulquiorra dubbed next week!

Is the Bleach dub not terrible? I remember watching it a long time ago but not if it was any good since I moved on to subs after like 30 episodes in.
