Which Lieutenant would make the best Captain?

In your opion whcich lieutenant would make the best Captain if a seat was vacated excluding the deal with Gin Ichimaru.

I think Izuru Kira would make the best Captain if that were ever to occur. Mainly based on the fact of the way he has dealt with with the departure of Gin. He is also fairly powerful and a masterful tactician.

What do you think?

The fact that Gin left and in the anime there was a whole arc dealing with the new captain shūsuke amaga feeling his spot.

I think i agree Kira is very calm minded and has a good captain like personality. I can see he as a captain easly. Also I love his coldness when his fighitng and how he tricks whats his names ( i forgot the name of the dude with 69 on his face) Zanpankto. His own Zanpanktos powers is also extremtly anoying at the right time.

I agree his fighting style is a sight to see and he gives no mercy to his enemies.

And i believe you are talking about Shuhei Hisagi yes he would be an excellent Captain as well.

dunno though.....i dont think one of the vice-captains in the soul society has the potential to be the best captain.....
but based on their experiences i think....it would be renji,Kira or hisagi

Kira and Hisagi would make fine captains. They are even better at kidou than some captains and have at least acceptable shunpo. However even though they may have the brains and are stronger than most Vice captains only Renji is actually strong enough to be one. He's the only Vice captain so far who has learned bankai, already putting him in a different category than the other vice captains. Since we know they don't know bankai and aren't powerful enough to challenge actual captains, the only way they could become captains are if more than half the captains vote that they are qualified which will not happen because they aren't. Yamaji,Soifon,Byakuya,Toshiro,Zaraki and Mayuri (constituting more than half the current captains) would never agree that Kira and Hisagi are strong enough. Unohana,Shunsui,Komamura, and Ukitake would be more lenient but still fail to make up the majority and probably wouldn't vote in favor of it either.

i think Renji Abarai is best suited for such position but i dont have a specific reason for that.
i just like him.
