Apart from the "I am Zangetsu" line, he never refers to himself as Zangetsu, but always to the other, and no one in the series has ever uttered the sentiment of refering to both entities with one name.

The Hogyoku was used to dissolve the boundary between Shinigami and Hollow. Ichigo did not have such a boundary, as his powers manifested simultaneously, but with his loss of power and subsequent re-powering solely by shinigami powers, it's fully possible that he has now established the barrier.
If so, it must be forcefully broken to allow his hollow to manifest again.

I would like to further elaborate on a point that you brought up, if what GO was saying is true, it would be applicable to every shinigami in the series. Or, possibly, even other spiritually aware beings like Quincy. However, we've seen nothing in the series to indicate that either of them have a "natural hollow" lurking within them. The Vizards were special cases, as you pointed out, because of the Hogyoku's usage. As I've said multiple times, Ichigo was an anomaly, and had he been able to escape the hole Urahara had placed him in before that time limit, the hollow in Ichigo would've never existed to begin with.

Think about it this way then. Zangetsu is also the product of power. Ichigo's spiritual energy and Rukia's energy formed him. The main difference between Ichigo and Zangetsu's creation is that one creation is physical and the other is spiritual.

Maybe Berserk would be a better comparison. The Idea of Evil was the created by the conscious of mankind. The Idea of Evil and mankind, however, are two separated beings.

Actually Zangetsu is only formed of Ichigo's reaitsu. Rukia simpley awakened his powers.

Anyway, good chapter. I am really curious about what Kirge was talking about. I am surprised that the Vandenreich would also use the final form, I think that it probably doesn't dissapear though. Btw, did Kirge have wings in his final form? I wonder what Urahara noticed at the end of the chapter.

My guess is no.
1. He's gone beyond just calling it "Quincy Letzt Stil" (final form) and has named it "Quincy Vollstandig" (complete form). This somewhat implies that he has a better understanding of the form and better knows how to control it.
2. He's already alluded that Ishida is at least as powerful as he is. Based on experience, Ishida's power (or control thereof) is rather inconsistent
3. I get the sense he's been kinda toying with Ichi. Why bother going all Hail Mary and risk losing your powers? Yes, I know he stated his techniques are still incomplete, and when he was ordered to kill Ichi things got serious, but really? You're not even going to try to break a sweat before sacrificing everything you are?
4. Kuboplot

Most impotantly, Kuboplot. That is, if he actually manages to survive the attack. Ichi could just go all BAapeshit and kick his ass.

Thanks guys, I'm getting used to it. The Manga is really good, I wish they could have better drawing or colors to differentiate some pictures and the B&W makes it quite confusing.
