You guys have got it all wrong.... Shinigami and Hollow are two ends of the spectrum on the same scale... and Vizard and Arrancar are the middle points

Vizard-More Shini than Hollow
Arran-More Hollow than Shini

However speaking separately for Ichigo's hypothetical case he appears to at different times encompass the entire scale all at once, like a sort of Copenhagen interpretation deal.

I don't think what Aizen meant by all his jibber jabber that Ichigo was some sort of half and half genetically or something. But rather that he is possibly a being that is a bridge of sorts. He is a human[the base race of the quincy], a shinigami[genetically being the spawn of Isshin of whom it is unknown was whether originally a regular shinigami either of a soul who had ascended to SS , or a living Shinigami like Ichigo] and a Hollow[due to unknown taint or Aizen dicking around with him while he was in the womb]. That is my postulation, I seriously doubt even Kubo would still try to shove the basic "half and half" bs down our throats at this point.
