You make a good point there. Pretty much only Goku and Vegeta were the only ones able to handle them at that point.

I like that the villain poses a threat and won't be canon fodder like most fullbrings were. Like Kirika said, this chapter had a feeling of despair to it, so I like where this is heading.

I expect Ichigo will be able to resist the absorption attack for some reason, but I don't think he'll be able to overpower Opie (yet). Actually, Opie may end up being Ishida's enemy to defeat.
