Renji and Rukia were childhood friends, he liked her when young. Renji's dream is to beat Byakuya, hence why he went to Ikkaku for lessons.

Chapter was really good. The match ups look interesting and I want to know what happens next. It did feel a bit short, but this was simply a stepping stone to greater things.

the names are funny. I would like he kept the German theme but it's interesting any way.

The battle I want to see the most is the Bya and Renji oh and Komamura's too.
