Anything that has Ishida is a lot better than anything that doesn't have Ishida.

For us, yeah, but on the subject of treating characters bad I think Ishida was better off.
At least he had an excuse for being useless.

Agreed, the fullbring arc ended up feeling like bad filler in the end. The zanpaktou filler in the anime was imo way better than the canon fullbring arc.

I dislike the "governor" that kubo has placed on Uryuu's abilities. I wouldnt be surprised if he goes thru this whole arc not even learning through observation how to utilize his full power like the Vandenreich can. Just so he can remain irrelevant combatwise. Btw poor Chad...

Chad has easily been treated the worst.
Even Ishida got a new bow.

Most definitely, Chad has gotten the short end of the deal more so than any other character in the series.

Chad had an arc that, according to Kubo was entirely about him, hijacked by Ichigo. Compared to that, Ishida got off VERY easy.

I agree Cal, Zanpakuto anime filler easily beat the Fullbringer arc in terms of quality any day of the week. The only good things that came from the Fullbringer arc at all was Unagiya-milf.

Technically it was about him, it was trying to give yet another reason for his powers, because the two before that just weren't enough.

If it was about him, rather than just a poorly executed excuse to give Ichigo his spamming-powers back, then we would've seen better development from Chad. Since we did not, I fail to see any technicality in any part of that arc.

Well this is supposedly Ishida's arc and he's been absent for quite a while now. I'd thought we'd get a POV switch to see what he's up to, but either Kubo's a little slow getting there or he has no intention of showing him until he randomly saves everyone from somebody mid-battle or some such.
