Made a kid sad today :(

Today my cousin came over to visit with her kid (i.e. my nephew).
The kid, Ryan, is five years old. Just some background info, Ryan is really cute and really nice. Basically he's not the irritating type.
Anyway at the time when they came over I was doing my math, and was stuck at a question that was supposedly easy. Ryan came into my room and was very excited to tell me a joke. I said I was kinda busy and requested if he could tell it to me later....
