For some reason I was thinking about the late Edward "Whitebeard" Newgate from OP the other night.

1. When he was younger, what did they call him? I mean, did he always have that white beard (and mustache)? Did he rise into prominence only when he grew the beard so he never had any other nickname?



2. Why is he called Whitebeard? The most prominent feature on his face is his white mustache. Even his...
