I was digging for a good anime (since the end of Vampire Knight Guilty (gotta watch this one if you haven't) I've had a rough time finding one)
I think Tenjou Tenge fit what I was looking for although the ending wasn't very satisfying. The manga is at MangaFox and is still ongoing so there is no way to find out right now who Nagi will end up with.

It starts out with two guys (Nagi, Bob) starting there freshman year at high school. They were called the Knuckle Bombers in middle school and plan to resume in high school however it turns out they are the weakest in the school. They want to become stronger and join the Junken club (forgive me for any misspellings) for training.

The Junken club is run by a girl named Maya. She stays in chibi form to save up her ki so she can defeat someone. Also in the club is her sister Aya and Takayanagi.

The series runs along pretty good until midways and there it stops to do tons of flashbacks. I got a little bored during all this but it very important to the series. It tells the story of Shin, Mitsuomi and the orginial Junken club. Then it goes back to 'present day' only to go back a couple episodes later.

Shin is Maya and Aya's brother. He has a major sister complex but I actually fell in love with the idea and wanted the two together. Doesn't happen so those that hate incest (which normally I do) don't panic. Shin was born with the family power of ryuugan (dragon's eye ). He touched the family sword Reiki that held supernatural powers causing his to awaken at a very young age. Because he was so young he nearly if not drove him insane. I felt so very very sorry for him.

Shin's friend Mitsuomi is suppose to be the ultimate martial artist. He falls in love with Maya but sleeps with Shin's girlfriend. I never cared for this character until the ending episodes. Mitsuomi is also the president of the Enforcers of the school. Although he never dies in the series he doesn't have long to live because of his heart.

Maya is Shin's sister. She doesn't have any supernatural abilities. She has really big ****s as do most all the female characters do. Sometimes it gets a little annoying. Lots of panty shots too. She is the keeper of the sword Reiki. She's really the cause of her brothers downfall as well as the disbandment of team Katana (Shin's first gang/team/club).
In present day she is captain of club Junken.

Aya is my favorite character. She is Maya and Shin's sister. She also has the supernatural power of the dragon. There family rule is if anyone sees there skin they must marry that person. Nagi falls on her while she is taking a shower and thus sees her naked. She instantly falls in love with him and steals his first kiss.
She takes the sword and causes a fuss but to me its the start of bringing Mitsuomi and Maya together.

Souichiro Nagi is the son of a exorcist family. The belief is to defeat evil you must become evil. His family is feared and rejected causing him a lot of pain. The power is called the dragon's fist. He becomes a total rebel and wants to fight to become stronger. He learns his true shortcomings when he fights Mitsuomi younger brother. Aya supports him all the way but he begins to have feelings for Maya. Aya having the power of the dragon as well can 'see' inside his heart so this causes her a lot of anguish at first until she become determined and tells them she will not loose to Maya. She will become stronger and better than Maya. What made me a little confused was his mother says something about which dragon will he choose. The black dragon or the gold dragon.

There are several other characters like Bob (Nagi's friend that is really calm and cool) Bunshichi ( 20 year old 3rd year high school student. Lazy but really very very strong and smart) etc....

The ending is like many animes I've watched recently where the ending just kind of doesn't close. Its left open as with this one there is a tournament coming up where Maya is suppose to fight Mitsuomi. Nagi is about to tell Aya something but she cuts him off telling him she knows he cares for Maya but she won't loose he will become her husband someday. This was a big issue for me so I went searching and read all the views of people. 1. He was going to tell Aya he loved Maya 2. He was going to tell her he had feeling for her because the first time he 'transformed' it was because he thought of Maya and turned into the 'black dragon' but the second time he 'transformed' his dragon was gold thus he must have been thinking of Aya. These are the views I read you can choose which you prefer when you watch.

Although when you look it up this is what is given for the genre. I feel however it is all about love.

If you can get past the drawings with the big lips, big faces and all the eating scenes I thought this was a excellent anime.

Its kind of confusing with the technology and I was lost at some points but I hung in there and I"m glad I did.

What I understood was two sides with the 'good' side having no idea what they were fighting for and the 'bad' side seeming to actually be the 'good' side. Did I confuse you?!? lol

It starts out with a with Madoka a young scientist finding a cave that happened to be another dimension. They built the 'gateway to heaven' a big lab more or less over top of it to study what they found which was called 'tear'.
This may not be correct but this is what I got from it. Madoka was married with a daughter and a scientist named Hiroko (they call her the countess) was in love with him.

Tear was leaking or contaminated and the facility was being shut down however Madoka releases Tear or does something and the lab blows up. This destroys the world as they know it. The sky is now a 'mirror' and computer cannot be used.

The scientist that worked in the lab where all thought to be dead except for the Countess although she was in a coma for many years. Each scientist had there genes stored so that clones could be made and they were. The Countess gathered these children together to help her fight against "Gilgamesh".

The story surrounds two children Madoka (clone to the the other Madoka) and his sister Kiyoko. Madoka has a huge sister complex which I found very endearing.

Everyone seems to be after these two because they are the orginial Madoka's children. Kiyoko is his biological daughter and they don't find out until way later that young Madoka is his clone.

All the clone children have these powers they call Dynamis. There is also a group of kids they call Gilgamesh they have powers. These two groups fight all through the anime.

The Countess's children fight because the Countess wants them too and the Gilgamesh guys fight to 'save the world'. Yep very confusing but its worth hanging in there.

Young Madoka is taken in by the Countess but his sister ends up leaving. Later in the story she falls in love or lush with one of the Gilgamesh. She becomes pregnant and ends back up at the hotel where they all live with the Countess.

The baby kills hers but she can still talk to her brother through the big goop she becomes. ( I don't get that part) Then the big finale happens and the two sides fight.

My little report may suck and doesn't say much so I advise if you're interested to do a google search of the anime or watch these clips that can help you decided if you wanna watch:

Okay here is why I''m writing this blog. HELP!!
I just watched the last episode and I'm so confused. I get that tear was actually contaminated by the jealousy in the Countess's heart. That it called to Madoka who took it in because he had feelings for her also. That he through tear saw how 'wicked and evil' the world was and with tear decided to 'clense' the world. The Countess takes in the tear because its 'her heart, feelings etc...' to become 'whole' again. Her and Madoka kiss and she 'cleanses' the world. So everyone dies right? I see Kiyoko hold her brother and take him with her. I thought that was a great ending. But I don't get what the white tree represents unless it was like the tree of life or something. Also the cocoon that Kiyoko had been in burst opens and what looks like Kiyoko steps out but she's dead so is that the child? I remember when some of the Gilgamesh guys die that they were reborn as grown men so I'm guessing that was the child. Okay the kid was 'tear' right? It looked just like the young Countess and the Kiyoko kid kills it. Why? Then she laughs like it so does that mean she took it in herself?

Wow so confusing but it was a awesome anime I just wish I understand that ending better. If it had just stopped with everyone dying and Madoka and his sister together it would have been perfect for me.

Been waiting for a update for quite some time now. Manga is ongoing and beware its smut genre. I like smut/romance but I've read so many bashing reviews about it I have to defend it. Come on it labeled SMUT what do you expect.
Smut is sexual content that could be considered offensive. As wiki definition states: Sexually vulgar material; something that is sexual in a dirty way.

With that said the oav's ( 2 of them ) are extremely mild. There is I believe 2 groping scenes and thats it! I had to watch since I love the manga thus far.

The OAV's are more romantic than anything.
I heard it called the slave/master relationship but I think thats a drastic explanation.

Yuzuru goes to school were there is a program for the extremely rich kids that have a flower in there names. I believe there is 9 of them. These rich kids have special ear rings that they give to their chosen 'honey's" A honey's job is to make sure they are at class on time, they do there homework, etc... By doing this the rich kids family pays the honey tuition fees.

Yuzuru works part time at a hotel during summer break and she throws water on a rude obnoxious guy named Renge. He makes her into his honey. He considers himself to be her master. lol

Renge has never had a honey for more than 3 days. To be dropped as a honey is to be expelled from school. Yuzuru family is so happy that her fees will be paid she feels pressure to obey Renge's every whim.

Because the rich kids get bored so easily they have a basketball game to make the loser drop there honey.

I can't remember the guys name but he tries to get Yuzuru to forfeit the game and become his honey because he doesn't have one. He goes through extreme measures to get her.

She is confused. She doesn't want to be the toy Renge keeps calling her but yet she has feelings for him too.

She's tricked and looses her honey ring and is trapped with being the other guys honey.

Never fear Renge to the rescue!

This is a little different in the manga because in the manga its not really Yuzuru he likes but Renge. I guess they had to really shorten it down for the 2 oav's plus the manga's not finished it.

I recommend it if you want something short to watch. Be warned though there is some groping and the slave/master bit.

The manga is ongoing and the genre says romance. You won't find any here. At least not in this season. Will there be a season 2? I don't know. After spending a bit of time searching it looks like maybe spring of 2009. All is up in the air though that is just a guess someone gave.
Because this anime leaves so much unsolved.

Its not a bad anime its actually pretty good but as another person said "Its a great anime but if there isn't a season 2 its one of the worse"

Toki sucks at history and fails his exam.
Now he has to go to this museum during the summer that uses high tech googles to shows him what the past was like. He meets a guy named Kon (HOT) that is really smart. He's the bad boy that has the gangster air about him. He helps Toki a bit so he can re write his history paper. Toki loses him and gets lost.

He's then attacked by a Nue. (I don't understand what these things are.) He falls in the water and wakes up in another world. Surprise! Kon is there too and has been for 2 years!! Time goes differently there. Toki has been blinded in one eye and can now see spirits that only a few people can see (however to me it seems like most everyone in the story can them)

A girl named Kuchiha guards over Toki because he's all important in this world. She has a demon dog living inside her that she is ashamed of. She is awesome!!

Apparently in this world all their fates are written out. The only one that can change fate is the Blank Page. Instead of saying fate they say Heaven's Web. The Princess knows the fate of mankind/demonkind and serves the creator Teiten. BonTen is a demon and he wants to perserve mankind/demonkind.

The Blank Page has to choose what side to be on demon or human.

The ending leaves you stranded. Toki (Blank Page) doesn't make a decision. BonTen tells about his plan to overthrow Teiten. Kuchiha overhears a conversation with Toki about how demon and humans can never live together in peace blah blah blah. Etc...Etc...Etc...

So if it doesn't have another season then its a waste of time to watch if you need closure.
However I can use my imagination and make a happy happy ending in my head where Toki and Kuchiha get togther. Toki joins BonTen to preserve the world. They over throw Teiten so that everyone gets to choose there own path. etc. etc. etc.. lol

There is mystery behind everyone's past but it never indulges it! Urrgh!! The main characters are still a complete mystery.

I looked it up on the web hoping to find another season or ova's SOMETHING and this is what I found : Glass Maiden will now make its weekly appearance on BS Fuji (Japan's nationwide satellite channel) starting Sunday, October 12, 2008!

Anyone know what this means exactly?


Okay here is what it's about: S&A detective agency consists of a group of what I would call 'outcasts'. We've got Shu the 'Boss' that sleeps around with LOTS of women. His younger brother they refer to as Chi-Boss. Two teenage girls Manami and Ayaka they I think Shu just found like stray puppies or something and started taking care of.

There is all kinds of mystery behind Shu's background but it never tells. boo hoo

There are lots of other people that help out the agency. A doctor and his 'nurse', a cross-dresser, a computer guy that rents scooters, etc...

It all starts when the cross dresser ( a VERY interesting character that is full of mystery) Polylin ( I know I spelled that wrong) gives a job to the agency to pick up some 'cargo'. The cargo ends up being a woman that everyone is after because she is the result of experimentation.

They give her the name Sara however she cannot remember any of her past so now we've got more mystery (which we're never clued in on boo hoo) Sara is a dying glass maiden that a man named Kito created.

Kito is trying to prefect the perfect weapon.
He's experimenting on teenage girls making there body turn into 'glass' however they don't last much longer than 5 hours before they themselves incinerate. He's made what he believes is the epitome of his experiments and calls it BW-1. It looks like a little girl but is going around killing. He needs Sara (HW-9 aka Human Weapon number 9) to learn why she is still alive to complete his BW project.

The place they all live is called Rags Town. A place everyone come too to forget there past and start over. One of the rules in Rags Town is not to ask, to overlook etc...

So the doctor turns out to be a great scientist that also did the first research on the glass maidens. His nurse met him in a war and she is a very unusal lady. lol Ayaka one of the little girls if I understood right used to cut herself.

The police get involved and a SWAT team.
The ending is great although I would have liked to see some romance. There isn't any so don't get your hopes up. Sara shocks all men that touches her and Shu doesn't seem interested which is a big ol disappointment for me.

All in all its a great anime!

This is cute. Its not one of those you get hooked into and just have to stay up into the wee hours to find out more.

It was a cute short (13 episodes) anime.
I hear that is a sequel but I haven't watched it but when/if I do I'll come back and update.

There may be spoilers below.

Lawerance is a merchant that goes town to town trading/bargaining. He's getting lonely and hopes to some day open up his own shop.
One town he's sweet on a girl named Chloe and I think he had the thought of marrying her once he settled down.

In the town where Chloe lives a wolf deity named Horo resides. Long ago a man treated Horo kindly and in return she granted his wish. It was to watch over the wheat of this town which she had the power to make it abundant or not. However the town is using man made ways to produce large crops and its deeming her as unnecessary.

Horo tired of being alone (the townsfolk were afraid of her so she lived amoung the wheat alone all this time after the man she made the promise to passed) stows away into Lawrence's wagon. Horo resides in wheat and since he had wheat in his wagon she was able to leave with him. The wheat will never wither or dry as long as its with her but if the wheat should be stolen or eaten she will cease to exist.

She wants to go to the place where she was born and Lawrence agrees to take her. Her ears can pick up lies and she has a great mind. This helps Lawrance as they wheel and deal.

Misfortune strikes when Horo is captured and Chloe is the 'ring leader' she wants Lawrance dead and to give Horo to the church. She feels that once Horo is gone her town can be shed of the old ways and can move forward.

Then Lawrence catches one of the merchants trying to cheat him over pepper and gets greedy. He gets a load of armour which he hopes to trade/sell for a large profit. However the armour trade drops dramatically and he is on the verge of bankruptcy.

He meets a young blonde shepard girl named Nora. She has the uncanny ability to go where no one else can because of wolves. They get her help to smuggle gold into the town.

They are betrayed. Lawrence is tied up and left to the wolves. Horo is thought to be dead. Nora is about to be killed.

There isn't a lot of romance in this series but it gives enough of a hint to make it good.
I would give this anime 6 out of 10 stars. If you want something quick and endearing this would be a good one to choose.

This is one if not my favorite anime.
Its a toss up between Ouran Host Club and Vampire Knight. Oh and Blood+. I don't know in what order I love them. lol

There is a sequel that I think comes out this month (Oct.08) called Vampire Knight Guilty.

I've read up to the part where her past is revealed in the manga. The manga is ongoing and you can read it here: Manga Fox: Vampire Knight Manga Series

Its hard to say a whole lot because of giving so much away. I'll try not to spoil it to much.

Yuki is found as a little girl wondering around by a vampire that tries to eat her. Kaname another vampire rescue's her and takes her to this guy (I can't remember his name but he reminds me of Nightroad on Trinity Blood LOL). This guy and Kaname ( a pureblood vampire) come together to make a school for both races. However the humans do not realize the night class are vampires.

The guy (dang I wish I could remember his name) adopts Yuki and later a boy whose family was attached and killed by vampires. The boy's name is Zero. So Zero and Yuki are raised together and become 'prefects' they protect the day class (humans) from the night class (vamps).

Yuki worships the ground Kaname walks on because he saved her and Zero is so very very jealous of him. He also hates vamps because of his past.

Zero because he was bitten by a vampire has to take these blood pills which all the vampires take so that they do not harm humans. However he is rejecting the pills.

Both Kaname and Zero are in love with Yuki.
Someone from Zero's past come back to 'haunt' him. Yuki also has a dark past that will be learned later on. I read it in the manga and it will probably be told in the sequel.

All the girls from the day class adore the night class. So Yuki has her hands full. Zero is very agressive toward Yuki. Kaname is so very gentle toward her.

I've seen on many sites where the question is asked who do you want Yuki to end up with.
For me its Kaname but it looks like there are just as many Zero fans if not more so.

This is really really a great anime.
If you like romance, love trangles you'll love it!
Drama by the bucket loads too! lol

I forgot to mention that Zero becomes a vampire hunter too! lol

Its just so good. I could go on and on but I don't want to say too much and ruin it for you.

This has lots of gorgeous guys!
The vamps love the smell and taste of Yuki's blood but Kaname won't let them near her!

This is one of those military anime.
Reminds me a little of a old anime called Robotech back when I was in school and even a tad of Code Geass (which I am currently watching)

There is a touch of Romance.
All in all I liked it. I'm not crazy with the artwork but I'm starting to even watch the second season which is: Full Metal Panic Second Raid

I watched a OVA that was just horrible.
It was pretty much all of Tessa.

Full Metal Panic is about technology.
These 'whispered' beings have all the techo in there subconscious and it comes out at times. I wonder where the techno came from in the first place? Must have gotten lost on that episode. :p

A secret independant organization over see these 'whispered' people and prevent them to get kidnapped by the wrong people who want to steal this knowledge and use it for evil means. This Gauron dude is hard to kill! lol

Chidori is a very strong willed highschool girl that happens to be one of the whispered.
Sousuke Sagara is a sergeant that has been fighting most of his young life. He is given the orders to protect Chidori. He must enroll in high school and fit in. A very hard task for someone like him.

Chidori often beats on him and she likes him. He's completely clueless and has a one tract mind always which is fulfilling his orders.

Enemies from the past come into play.
Also a love triangle from the captain Tessa whom also likes Sagara.

Tessa takes the opportunity to get closer to Sagara by having him teach her how to operate a arm slave. Arm slaves are these big robot looking things they get in and control.

Sagara receives one that has a lambadra driver. I know I spelled that wrong. Its technology that lets the driver and the machine become one. Gauron a enemy of the past and present also has one. Chidori helps Sagara on many occasions with things like this.

This anime kind of dragged a big after a handful of episodes. I stopped watching it for awhile but later came back to it. I'm glad I did. Its a good anime although some of the stuff is over my head. I'd recommend it :0)

Just finished this morning at 3am Full Metal Panic! Second Raid.

Its really short 13 episodes.
The first 5 kind of drug. Chidori was rarely in them and when she was she was beating the crap out of Sagara. That really gets on my nerves. Anyway after those episodes it got really good!

Sagara can't seem to get his thoughts in control to use the lambada driver in the slave driver the white albalest. (My spelling sucks so bear with me) Tessa pulls him off the job of watching Chidori right after they have a touching hair cut scene because he needs to concentrate on his other missions.

Sagara being the always follow orders kind of guy leaves as was insisted without contacting Chidori but not before he does a very touching scene of screaming out information so that the new guy/girl watching Chidori called the Wraith will contact him.

Sagara leaves and feels like he abandoned Chidori so he's having a mental breakdown. He's trying to 'find' himself and doing a terrible job of it. LOL at one part he even gets a hooker that looks just like Chidori!!

While he is having his crisis Chidori is going through a breakdown of her own. She feels like she is being followed all the time and is constantly scared. He even goes into a hotel with a guy.

Tessa also has a little melt down over Sagara's cold shoulder toward her. She screams at him about how Chidori is the only one he cares about blah blah blah. In the end Sagara talks to her and calls her by her name Tessa. LOL She has a 'moment of joy'

Tessa's brother finds Chidori. He is spellbound by her. He's also a whispered being. He makes a comment saying he is of her same species. He confesses his love for Chidori and even kisses her!!

Meanwhile we have another villian!! Gates.
This crazy, insane, out of control freak. AWESOME. A favorite villian because its a mystery what he'll do next. He kills his own people at a whim. I love him. lol

A old villian comes back for a moment.
Sagara is made to believe Chidori is dead.
Sagara's childhood is revealed.
So a lot happens in this short series.

There are also these twin girls that are fearless and extremely talented. The villian from first season I want to say his name is Gauron raised them.

The end is a tad disappointing because Chidori and Sagara do not confess there love for one another but it is made extremely apparent in this season. She almost tells him but cannot find the courage. After the credits scroll they are sitting on a train and he asks her what was she going to say before and he just smiles, takes hold of his sleeve and says nothing.

Sagara changes though as one of the sergeants put it "he has the face of a man now"

Not what I would normally watch but it was recommended to me. It was okay. I haven't watched any of the anime episodes just the movie. It didn't appeal to me mainly because I had a hard time following what was going on. Plus I like romance or male harem this had neither.

Spike is a bounty hunter along with his 'team'
Jet Black, Faye, and Ed.

A deadly virus that really little robots that came about through experimenting on this guy named Vincent and others. Vincent however holds the cure in his blood. He's going to create a new world by releasing this virus and killing everyone. The government is offering a lot of money to catch the guy.

Spike and his team then work together to catch Vincent and find out the truth behind the virus.

Its been awhile since I watched this one. I liked it I remember that but I wasn't happy at the ending. It gave me the feeling of "huh? where is the next episode"

It says the genre is romance but although there is a hint of it she doesn't end up with anyone at the end. It just kind of drops. I wish they'd make a few ova's.

The manga is complete. I've read a few pieces of it here and there to see if she ends up with anyone. It looks like she ends up with the cat but I'm not sure: Manga Fox: Fruits Basket Manga Series

Tohru Honda's mother passed away and she lived with her grandfather and his son/wife.
I think thats right like I said its been awhile since I watched this. There really wasn't any room for her so she left and started sleeping in a tent on property owned by Sohma Yuki a classmate of hers.

She doesn't know the property belongs to them and they find her one day. She ends up living with them (there are 3 of them all cousins) to be there house maid.

These guys are awesome! lol
They are cursed and when a girl touches them they change into animals of the zodiac!!

This anime is very funny and in some ways sad.

One of my favorite characters is Momiji.
Everyone in this family is cursed. I forgot to mention that. Anyway mothers often cannot handle there children turning into animals and desert them. Momiji watches his mother from afar and is still so very very sweet. He likes to dress like a girl which is so funny.

One of my favorite scenes is when Honda has to go back and live with her grandfather and his family. They are really mean to her and the boys come in and save her.

There is also a lot of friction between Kyo and Yuki. Cat and Mouse so its expected however there is a deep fear and secret Kyo holds.
They are both so jealous of each other and fight a lot.

Just finished the last episode (#24) and still blowing my nose. I don't like tragic endinds but sometimes get stuck watching them cuz I don't do my homework and don't know its tragic until its too late. So if you want a love love ending this is not for you.

I read this was ecchi. I don't know what that means exactly but I am supposing it refers to the many big breasted woman in this anime. lol

I read the manga was very graphic and at one point it looked like the witchblade was coming out of her ******. Just warning those that may be interested or maybe interest because of it. :D I haven't read it and I don't plan too. I've cried to much over it as is.

There is a devastating earthquake in Japan causing many people to loose pretty much everything. Masane Amaha is found with a baby and maternity papers. She's lost her memory and remembers nothing of her past or the child she holds.

After 6 years of living in a home for mothers she has to leave to find work and start anew.
The child welfare people find her and try to take her child Rihoko away because she has no job and no place to live. Masane fights to get Rico back and is thrown into jail.

Tozawa is a freelance photographer trying to get shots of murders that are bizarre. He's trying to get that one big scoop and starts snooping around. Rico runs away from the child welfare people and hence the two meet. She blackmails Tozawa to take her to see her mama in jail.

Masane is in jail when a big racket occurs. This human/machine is attracted to power and since she wears the witchblade bracelet (she knows nothing about it at this time) is attracted to her. It kills the police officers and comes for her. She turns into the witchblade wielder and destroys the machine/human.

She ends up getting hired to destroy these machine/human by the company that created them. Her boss is named Takayama.

While this is going on another organization that uses the child welfare group as a front is creating there own witchblade welders called neogenes.

There is a love interest between Masune and both Takayama and Tozawa. She even sleeps with one of them!!! You go girl!!!!!! LOL

All in all this was a pretty good anime.
I had tried to watch it once before but couldn't make it past the first couple episodes. This time I made it and glad I did.

I give it 8 stars out of ten.
A lot of heartwarming mother/daughter stuff.

The only anime that comes to mind when I think about this one is Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora and I don't even know why. :rolleyes:

You have 7 super genius students that make up the Special A. All of them are super rich except for one girl Hikari.

Hikari is a wrestling fan along with this naive, determined personality. Her rival in life his Kei. A rich super genius that runs his dad's company. He has a cool demeanor and a photographic mind. He has a huge crush on Hikari but she is so dense she doesn't know.

Then there is Jun and Megumi. I think they are twins but I'm not sure. Jun has a secret that I won't tell ya! lol Because of this secret he's afraid of girls or later on in the series a particular girl. lol Megumi doesn't speak. She's saving her voice to become a great songtress. She communicates by writing everything down.

Ryuu is a animal lover and is a quiet guy.
He takes care of Jun and Megumi because there parents are often away.

Akira is a girl that is very possesive over Hikari. At first you think its a gay thing but its not. Akira didn't have any friends as a child because of a guy name Yahiro. He chased everyone away from her and caused her to have a very lonely and insecure childhood. (or so you are made to believe but its so much more than that.) Hikari became her first friend that didn't run away.

Tadashi is Akira's punching bag! lol He loves to eat and Akira loves to cook. They'd make a great couple **wink**

So much goes on in the anime although the manga is still ongoing and I've read up to chapter 56.

Both the anime and the manga pretty much follow each other along.

The whole thing is mostly about Hikari and Kei. The struggle between the two. Kei's family issues trying to tear them apart and Hikari's dense personality gets in the way because she can't see the love Kei has for her. Then when he make it clear of his feelings she starts to dwell on hers but ends up in denial. She can't seem to cross the rival to lover issue. lol
Also many many other characters come into the scenes to create drama. Like Akira's childhood, Yahiro, Kei's grandfather, Kei's fiance that ends up falling for Jun but he runs away.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this anime!
Its short something like 10 or 13 episodes
I really hope there is a second season but I can't find anything out by doing searches. Yahoo Answers was replied back as probably not.
The ending just kind of drops off. Nothing is solved really and there is so much mystery.

Rahzel is a young rich spoiled girl that has magical powers. I love her attitude. No whiny crying girl in this anime! She's kicked out of her home to explore the world to learn more I suppose.

She groups up with really good looking albino named Alzeid who's on hunt for revenge.

Later in the next episode or two you get to meet her second companion Baroqueheat. He used to be in the army as did Alzeid. He has a tattoo that turns into a sword. Baroqueheat flirts outrageously with Rahzel but its only to make Alzeid upset.

The gang goes around solving mysteries and such. Rahzel loves to help people. Later you learn because of her powers she was abandoned and the man that raised her is not her father.

Then you'll meet Soresta. The good/bad guy who worships Alzeid.

The manga is called Dazzle and it looks like its a must read if you wanna find out what happens after the anime. I haven't read it. I am currently reading 14 mangas and watching 27 anime. The latest of which is WitchBlade.

Don't read if you don't want spoilers!

Okay anime. I like the artwork. Its a little confusing I think.

People live on Mars. Apparently Earth is gone or uninhabitable. People on Mars have stopped having children. To fill the void they are creating robots. They are like slaves in my op but some are treated like children. They call them 'dolls'.

Layla is a fighter. Her past is foggy and as the series goes on (I think there is 13 episodes) she learns more and more. Garcia another fighter that Layla beats and spares his life so he kind of follows her where abouts thinks she's Volk's daughter.

Volk is part of a group of what they call the "orginial dozen' The first people to colonize Mars. He's not really a bad guy but a bit twisted in his dealing with Layla.

There are only a few of the original dozen left. They have made themselves immortal so they've been around for awhile.

Nei is a real child that Layla thinks is a doll. Shoot even Nei thinks she's a doll and I'm not sure what she really represents. She travels with Layla as well as a doll breeder named Speedy.

The whole point is for Layla to get revenge against Volt for a crime he committed in the past.

The series is short but full of action.
No romance although on one description I read they had put romance down. I didn't find any

I give it 6 stars cuz I really liked Layla.

I didn't understand the ending but I was crying anyway. lol I'm hoping there is another season but I haven't heard any rumors. It looks like there won't be since its from 2003.
