White Sand

ok this is more of a song i wrote than a poem
but i will put it into poem format
this is about two teenage girls who fall in love and do crazy things to maintain it
http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/n...ers/index.html

Plunge the blade into the throat of those who oppose you
and runaway where you can lay your head upon white sand

who needs family, when i have your love
who needs sanity, if we're together
who needs anything, not me, for you

the water is beautiful, in the calm before the storm
you look so beautiful, our love is beyond normal
I'm so pitiful, but you make me complete
when impending doom is at our feet
i would race it down the street
and when it catches me in the end
i would lay my head upon white sand

our forbidden love will save us in the end
our forbidden love separates us until then
so what can i do but lay my head upon
white sand

how the hell is that beautiful man? Killing your grandparents? I think romanticizing murder is very dangerous.

i disagree... i have always found murder, in most cases, to be romantic in nature... (romeo and juliet just an example that comes to mind first, another perfect example West Side Story)
i feel bad for the grandparents... but maybe they should have done things another way and that would have never happened

lol in a way you're saying that they deserved to die for not allowing the couple to continue? Murder is still murder.

well they treated their granddaughter like she wasn't welcome and she was trash because her mother, their daughter, was trash... i believe that they could have been more nurturing...

"The Colliers had their hands full with Holly, who proved to be even more rebellious than her mother. She repeatedly tried to run away, although she was always brought back. No matter how much love and compassion the Colliers tried to show their granddaughter, they were rejected. It was clear that Holly was a deeply troubled young woman."

they treated her with respect, and this is how she repaid them.

"Like everyone else in Fayettesville, Sarah Collier knew of her granddaughter's romance with Sandy. And it disgusted her. She vowed to break the couple up, to "bring structure" to Holly's life. She refused to listen to Holly's pleas. "You're too young to know what love is," she told her granddaughter"

So? Don't tell me that hasn't happened to a lot of other people. Instead of killing their grandparents, they go on with their lives

i mean both parties are at fault for what happened and her mother as well,
but the bottom line is that it ended tragically for everyone... Sandy pretty much disowned Holly afterwards as well...
the song is only about a small portion of the story

Honestly, if your parents didn't allow you to be with a girl, would you kill them? And apparently their love wasn't true love...otherwise they would've stayed together.

I wish more people could have access to this blog. For some reason it restricts some people from seeing it.

I still think the girl was incredibly troubled. No one would take care of a child they didn't want.

according to my article they kind of got stuck with her... she bounced around from home to home....
they def didn't really want her tho:
""I don't have to put up with you," the old lady yelled, her hands planted on her hips. "you can go be a ***** (prostitute) like your mother."
there is no doubt the girl was incredibly troubled tho....
not to mention that the murder was committed under the influence of some really heavy drugs that nobody that young should even have access to
