seriously is it just me that has the problem of their family not wanting them to watch anime ? at first they thought it was just a phase, but now they say i should grow up and watch more shows with real people like everyone else. is there any way to get them off my back without having to give up anime or should i just ignore them?

Maybe i'll tell you why you SHOULD watch anime another day... i just can't write a one page blog right now.

BOY do I know where you are coming from! I used to hear the same thing from my brother and my friends until I schooled them about Anime! The truth is that they are speaking from IGNORANCE, they actually DON'T KNOW what they are talking about! They look at Anime and they see CARTOONS! They(like my brother&friends)suffer from a sickness called "I'am an American and any thing that isn't American is stupid!" Just tell them that this is some thing that you are into and if they can not support you then they need to STOP IMPEDING on your GOD given CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to " Life, Liberty and The Pursuit Of Happiness"

i toally understand you. it isnt just the family it is all my friends 2!! they say that i shouldnt watch it because i play a ton of sports and is in honor roll and that ist deterierates me. but i just tell them that just cause i do all that dosent mean i cant do wat i love. if u think about it if u did everything everyone said then u would be really sad. so i think that if u truly love watching anime just as much as i do then u should ignore wat everyone says and just do it!!!
