"Lol yesterday
I'm at this Indian restaurant down the street from work having lunch. The place was pretty packed and right next to me were two white guys. One was older (late 50s maybe) and the other looked to be about 30. They seemed perfectly normal and seemed to be having a conversation about work or some kind of business. The older guy was giving feedback and advice.

About 7 or 8 minutes into this (they were already there when I arrived) the younger guy suddenly says, "on a more personal note.. and I hope this doesn't totally come out of left field.. but we've been spending a lot of time together..and I really respect you a lot.." At this point I'm thinking OK this is corny, borderline gay.

He continues... "You're smart, you're a good guy, and I think of you as a mentor.. so I was wondering if by chance we could take our relationship to another level."

I'm like and the old white dude's like . I'm eating my food looking straight in front of me and trying to pretend like I don't hear what's going on. After a brief pause, the older guy was like "I'm not sure what you mean." The younger one lowers his voice a bit and says "I'm attracted to you." lol

The older guy is just quiet.. I don't hear a single word. The silence lasts for about 2 minutes until the older guy asks the waiter for the check lol. The gay guy pays, and the older one gets up and puts his jacket on, still quiet lol. Gay guy doesn't know what to do, sits there a second, then gets up to leave as well.

Maybe you had to be there, but this qualified for awkward moment of the year for me despite not being involved.

UTRECHT, Netherlands - Utrecht police say a 21-year-old Dutch man is recovering after a "mooning" that went horribly wrong.

A police statement says the man and two others had run down a street in Utrecht with their pants pulled down in the back "for a joke."

It says that at one point the 21-year-old "pushed his behind against the window of a restaurant" that broke and resulted in "deep wounds to his derriere."

The statement released Tuesday says police detained the three men after the incident Sunday morning. But the cafe owner decided not to press charges after the men agreed to pay for the broken window.

The injured man was treated for his injuries at a nearby hospital.
