I dunno where that title came from. I thought about how I love movies and how people think I'm nuts. Nuts led me to crazy which led me to bats in the belfry et viola! Movie Bats! Someone saner might have used Movie Nuts since it makes sense, but yeah.. that ain't me.

A Review: Dorm (Dek Hor)

I wasn't sure what to make of Dorm. I thought at best it might be purposefully humorous and at worse unintentionally funny. I'm happy to say the former is correct. Dorm start curiously with a young boy being sent to a boarding school that resembles a home for the mentally ill more than any school. It turns into a sweet film about loneliness, friendship, and the relationships that develop when you have no one else. The young actors led Charlie Trairat as Ton are wonderful. The adults aren't half bad either. If you're interested in an entertaining, well written, and atypical ghost movie with a good story, you can't do much better than Dorm.
