my question to everyone is why do people always feel they need to see the newest movies as soon as they come out?

like the new harry potter movie with the midnight premier, all the movies i see in theaters i go to maybe 2 or 3 weeks after premier and its not like it changes or anything its just much quieter with less people, going to it as soon as it comes out just isn't that logical in my mind because there is large lines, (most likely) a lot of noise in the theater, and way too crowded in the seats


whats everyone elses opinions?

although i doubt anyone cares :/

    No idea, but I'm the same (well except for dark knight which I saw the day it came out..) maybe just because they can go and say "lol I saw the FIRST SHOWING of so and so, I rawk!" my question is why anyone feels they need to watch Harry Potter? :P

    Yea some people do it just to say they did, but it's also a great experience when you go the first day cause everyone is excited and the audience share laughs and cries. Like a charisma orgy

    It's just like... how you like to watch anime as soon as it's out... specially if you are a fan...

    You want to know what's happenning, how they gonna make this and that look. You just can't wait... youy just gotta know as soon as possible...

    ALSO, there a great deal of fans that goes for those "premiere" ... so you are surrounded by die hard fan, just like you, and you often share and talk about the movie before and after it ...

    Sometimes there is cosply, event's and you can even win prices!

    Seriously, premiere are always so much more fun than just regular movies =P I like to go, even when it's movie I just like... because the crowd is totally different ^^

    because if it is a good movie, people just want to see it as soon as possible because they think that the movie is going to be awesome

    i dont need to see it right away but i would like to see no more than 1 week after a movie comes out because there is always some1 bound to ruin for you!!!! (ex.bruno)

    thaqt too....

    There always someone to be like "OMG!!! then when Bob die... man it's epic!!! I wasn't expecting it to be that way!!!!"

    I always feel a little bit sad, because i like to be surprised by movies >.<

    The only time i ever went to a first premier was when i was 8 and it was for a Harry Potter movie =/
    But then again it wasn't at midnight.

    lol Harry Potter ...never went to see it on cinema ...i usually for the newest movies i go after 2-3 weeks he had the premier...
