I've been chosen to go for an anthropological study way off down south, in the middle of nowhere.

Talk about short notice (I leave early tomorrow morning), but apparently I'm a tough cookie to get hold of. [note to self: check uni email more often...]

Apparently a post-grad student dropped out so my tutor put my name forward. ='D

So... yeh. I'll be gone a few days.
I heard they'll be snow on the mountain top though, which I haven't seen...

Anywho, after an extended absence from watching anime I started Toyko Majin, last night. Half way through now.

I think I love Tatsuma...

If anime characters were real, I'd be a happy chappy.

But when I was a new transfer student in my new country... no one started my first day by trying to beat me up.

I feel cheated. :/

I think I have quite good luck at the moment:

I found some change for a coke.
I found a sock.
I found my lecture notes that I thought had perished into the Abyss of my bottomless bag. :/
I've won three free twix bars so far.

(it's hard to say that fast, but 'three tree twigs' is harder without sounding like a faux Irish person)
